主题:Wildlife Protection and Ecological Balance

Today I’d like to talk about the relationship between nature and human society, especially in terms of ecology and the protection of wildlife.

In many regions, rare species such as the swan or elephant are threatened by illegal trade in ivory, which is often turned into luxury products. As a result, many animals become easy prey for predators, or victims of human activities. Some species are kept captive, while others are increasingly vulnerable to environmental destruction.

At the same time, modern agriculture attempts to increase crop yield by using pesticides to eliminate pests and harmful insects. However, excessive chemicals can harm the ecosystem, reduce diversity, and even trigger gene mutation. In extreme cases, certain species may become extinct due to habitat loss.

From a scientific perspective, every living organism relies on a delicate biological mechanism. Inside the body, enzymes regulate metabolism, helping organisms absorb nutrients, secrete hormones, and excrete waste. When we observe these processes under a microscope, we can understand life at the micro level, but we must also consider environmental changes at the macro level.

Climate change further complicates the situation. Natural systems constantly evolve, and evolution depends on balance. However, when human actions undermine that balance, the intensity of environmental pressure may fluctuate dramatically. If pollution continues, soil may deteriorate, water may become contaminated, and entire regions could be desolate.

Therefore, instead of trying to dominate nature, we should learn to harness technology responsibly and hedge against ecological risks. Governments must design effective policies to protect, preserve, and conserve biodiversity. Otherwise, once environmental damage becomes irreversible, future generations will have to bear the consequences.

In my opinion, true sustainability requires both rational planning and intuitive awareness of our responsibility. Only by respecting natural laws can we ensure a positive outcome for both humans and wildlife.
